He said that this day reminds us of those brave men who fought the enemy without caring about their lives to defend the ideological and geographical borders of the beloved homeland. The sacrifices of the Pakistan Army are a bright chapter in history. September 6 is the day of our national self-reliance, solidarity and invincible defense. The martyrs of the homeland strengthened the foundations of this country by sacrificing their lives. On the occasion of Pakistan’s Defense Day on September 6, Special Assistant to the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis for Italy Ikramuddin said that the 1965 war proved that when the people and the army are on the same page, even the biggest power can be defeated. He said that even today the country is facing internal and external challenges, but we as a nation are completely united to face every difficulty and build and develop the beloved homeland. He added that the Pakistani nation always stands by its army and we are proud of our army.
