Monitoring System: PEF Monitors Amjad Hussain Shah and Tahir Saleem ‘special-men’ of MD PEF.

LAHORE:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,A key meeting of the Union of PEF PSRP of the Punjab Education Foundation’s PSRP Program was held in which strong protests and reservations were expressed over the misbehavior and behavior of the officials of the Punjab Education Foundation, especially MD Shahid Farid, Program Directors PSRP and Regional Directors Rawalpindi and Multan. The participants demanded from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Education Minister Rana Sikandar that the anti-education policies of the officers of the Punjab Education Foundation are pushing the educational vision of the APN-M government towards failure. We have repeatedly requested the concerned authorities that the behavior of the MDPF monitors is extremely unprofessional towards the licensees and the staff in the institution. Licensees from all over Punjab demanded that the monitor of DG Khan, Tahir Saleem, and the monitor of Attock, Amjad Hussain Shah, be immediately dismissed and inquiries be conducted against them. We have repeatedly complained against them to the Managing Director Shahid Farid and other directors of MA, but no action has been taken against these monitors, nor has the institution tried to contact us in this regard. It seems that Amjad Hussain Shah, against whom applications have been received not only from the district of Attock but also from Muzaffargarh, Multan, Sargodha and other districts, certainly has a special connection with the MDPF, which is why the institution has not taken any action against both Amjad Hussain and Tahir Saleem till date, let alone asking the applicants. The basis of personal likes and dislikes and the cruel policy of physical verification is such that till now four to five lakh children are proving to be out of school due to lack of physical verification in these outsourced schools. By paying for these unverified children, PEF is depriving the concerned schools of payment, while the licensees are providing all the educational needs including teachers to all these admitted children. How can the licensee make all the children compulsory to attend school for physical verification which is done in the name of surprise visit in a single day? Due to such cruel behavior and policies, only 50, 60 thousand rupees are being given to the licensee C after deductions. In such a situation, when the number of schools is generally less than 100, how will the licensee C meet the expenses of the institution and what will he be able to save for his livelihood. Surely in such circumstances, these government schools and programs will be closed. In this regard, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz should establish a special monitoring cell and take PSRP licenses on board so that timely and useful policies can be formulated based on our suggestions, suggestions and complaints.
