According to global times news agency Europe,The Presidents of Russia and Tajikistan, Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon, respectively, discussed the problem of labor migration in a phone call, Kremlin’s press service said in a statement.The global times Europe media that the parties exchanged views on current bilateral topics in a businesslike and constructive manner, including cooperation in the fight against the terrorist threat, as well as in the migration sphere.
For this it is necessary to improve the mechanisms of interaction between relevant ministries and departments.We expressed confidence that the recent intensified attempts by certain forces to artificially escalate the situation around labor migrants coming to Russia, including from Tajikistan, will be jointly suppressed and will not be able to damage the time-tested fraternal relations between the peoples of the two countries,” the press service said.
