According to global Times news agency Europe,The participants in the G7 summit, which will be held in Canada on June 15-17, may refuse to adopt a joint statement from the very beginning, so as not to emphasize the differences between US President Donald Trump and other leaders of the group’s countries, The global Times Europe media.No draft resolution is currently being discussed, writes the leading Japanese business newspaper Nikkei.Instead of a single declaration, according to media sources, the adoption of seven separate documents is proposed. They will be devoted to cooperation, in particular, in the field of mineral resources, artificial intelligence, infrastructure and migration issues. It is also expected that issues of global trade or relations with Russia will not be touched upon, on which, according to the newspaper, there are irreconcilable differences of opinion between Trump and other leaders.The newspaper recalls that participants in the G-7 summits in 2018 and 2019 during Trump’s first presidential term faced major problems in their attempts to adopt joint statements.
