According to global times news agency Europe,The new Prime Minister of France, Michel Barnier, who was appointed today, made an illegal visit to the Azerbaijani territories in 2021.According to The global times Europe media, at that time, Barnier, together with French presidential candidate Valerie Pecresse, visited the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, then-controlled by Armenian separatists.
The visit took place on December 21-23, 2021. Barnier, who made an illegal visit to the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, joined the statements of Pecresse against Azerbaijan. They urged Paris to recall its ambassador from Azerbaijan and impose sanctions on official Baku.Considering Barnier’s previous position and actions, presumably, relations between the two countries will fall even further.
