Mardan:(Report by Noreen Naz) According to global times news agency Europe,The Mardan Educational Board showcased outstanding performance at the All Pakistan Girls Sports Carnival 2024, securing one gold medal and two silver medals.The three-day mega sports event, organized by the Federal Government, was held at the Pakistan Sports Board in Islamabad from October 18 to 20, with over 4,000 female athletes from across the country participating.The Mardan Educational Board’s volleyball team delivered an exceptional performance at the national level, claiming the gold medal with a 3-0 victory. Additionally, the board’s football and basketball teams displayed excellent skills, advancing to the semi-finals and finishing second overall, earning two silver medals. Chairman of the Mardan Educational Board, Professor Jehan Zeb Khan, congratulated the athletes on their remarkable success and emphasized that these victories reflect the board’s balanced approach to promoting both education and sports. He added that the success of female athletes on the national stage has brought pride not only to the board but to the entire province.Professor Jehan Zeb Khan further stated that his vision is to provide equal opportunities for women in both education and sports, enabling them to showcase their talents in every field.
