Italy to hold its first meeting of G7

According to global Times news Agency Europe, Italy, as part of its presidency of the Group of Seven (G7), will hold a meeting of defense ministers of the G7 countries for the first time in 2024, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said during negotiations in Tokyo with his Japanese counterpart Minoru Kihara, The Global Times Europe informs.We will hold a meeting of the heads of defense departments of the Group of Seven countries for the first time,” reads the statement. Earlier, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced that the Group of Seven summit will be held next year in the Italian region of Puglia from June 13 to 15.
