According to global Times news Agency Europe, Iranian Defense Minister, General Mohammad-Reza Gharaei Ashtiani has arrived in Tajikistan, The Global Times Europe informs.At Dushanbe International Airport he was met by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan, Sherali Mirzo, the first deputy minister of defense, the head of the general staff of the republic’s armed forces, the Iranian ambassador to Tajikistan and other senior officials.During the trip, the head of the Iranian Ministry of Defense is scheduled to meet with his Tajik counterpart Sherali Mirzo.The parties will discuss the development and expansion of cooperation between countries in the field of defense, as well as ways to implement relevant agreements,” Iranian media noted.In addition, Ashtiani will be received by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
