“Her Rise 2026” Held at Business Incubation Center, University of Peshawar to Promote Gender Equality and Entrepreneurship.
Peshawar:(Special Representative) According to Global times News Agancy Europe, Secretary Higher Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Israr, was the chief guest at “Her Rise 2026 – An Innovation of Opportunity”, organized at the Business Incubation Center (BIC), University of Peshawar. Speaking at the event, the Secretary emphasized the need to provide equal opportunities to students, particularly women, and highlighted the role of business incubation in driving economic growth, as seen in European countries. He stressed the importance of introducing strong incubation models in universities to empower youth through innovation and entrepreneurship.Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar, Prof.Dr. Johar Ali, stated that the initiative aims to promote gender equality, encourage commercialization, and provide students with platforms to transform innovative ideas into successful businesses.Dr. Shakeel Malik, Focal Person, Business Incubation Center, University of Peshawar, and Representative of KPCVE, highlighted that innovation, product development, service quality, and effective communication are key to establishing sustainable startups. He also appreciated government initiatives in science and technology aimed at training students and promoting entrepreneurial culture.
