According to global Times news Agency Europe, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili has embarked on a working visit to Brussels at the invitation of the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, The Global Times Europe informs referring to the government administration.He will take part in the Global Gateway Forum 2023, organized by the European Commission (EC). The head of the Georgian government will be the main speaker at the Transport Corridors working panel, which will be held as part of the forum. The Global Gateway is a European strategy aimed at improving secure connections in the digital, energy and transport sectors, as well as strengthening health, education and research systems around the world. The Forum is in line with the UN 2030 Agenda, Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement. The strategy aims to mobilize investments of up to 300 billion euros to finance priority areas.
