Caltanissetta: (International News Desk) According to Global Times News Agency Europe, Farah Hind, member of the FAI CISL Agrigento-Caltanissetta-Enna Secretariat, spoke at the 8th Congress of the FAI CISL Sicily, speaking on behalf of those who often have no voice: the workers employed in the fields and in the most humble settings, often foreigners, who with hard work and courage contribute to our economy, yet too often remain invisible, precarious, and exploited. In her speech, she emphasized the need for a strong and determined commitment against gangmastering, undeclared work, and those who exploit people’s vulnerability for profit. She forcefully reiterated that the ecological transition cannot be achieved at the expense of the least fortunate, but rather must become an opportunity to build spaces of dignity and participation, where foreign workers can gain information, training, and have a say. She concluded her speech with a clear and inclusive message:The future is not something we wait for, it is built together.
