Foreign Ministry: Pakistani citizens not involved in conflict in Ukraine

According to global times News Agency Europe,The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has denied statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding the involvement of Pakistani citizens in the conflict in Ukraine.According to The Global times Europe media, the ministry noted in a statement that, to date, Ukrainian authorities have not officially approached Pakistan nor provided any credible evidence to support these claims.”The Government of Pakistan will discuss this matter with the Ukrainian authorities and seek clarification on this issue. Pakistan reaffirms its commitment to a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine through dialogue and diplomacy in accordance with the principles of the UN Charter,” the Foreign Ministry said.It should be noted that earlier, Zelenskyy said mercenaries from a number of countries, including Pakistan, were involved in the fighting in the Vovchansk direction.
