Ex-Chairman of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee detained

According to global times News Agency Europe,Law enforcement agencies in Armenia have detained the Former Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Vardan Harutyunyan, according to the country’s Anti-Corruption Committee, The global times Europe media.Harutyunyan is accused of participating in illegal entrepreneurial activities and money laundering.Currently, the Anti-Corruption Court is considering a petition for Harutyunyan’s arrest.Harutyunyan served as State Revenue Committee chief from 2016 to 2018, and before that, he was the Director General of Gazprom Armenia.
