EU to impose new sanctions on Russia if ceasefire in Ukraine not achieved.

According to global Times news agency Europe,The prospect of adopting a separate package of sanctions in connection with Russia’s failure to agree to a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine remains valid, and various options are being considered, said Anitta Hipper, the spokeswoman of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas, The global Times Europe media .We are making every effort to have any option on the table in order to increase pressure on Russia. We demand an unconditional ceasefire, our support for Ukraine is unwavering,” she noted.Hipper said that the work on sanctions is confidential. She added that the EU is in contact with American partners on the issue of putting pressure on Russia.
