Nasar Calls for Joint Efforts to Strengthen Pakistan’s Economy
ISLAMABAD:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan Nasar has appreciated the vital role of the business community in the country’s economic development and called for enhanced cooperation between the government and the business sector to promote trade, investment and economic growth.
He expressed these views while attending a reception and dinner hosted by Muhammad Rauf Raja, Focal Person to the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme for Tourism and Hospitality, in honour of the newly elected office-bearers of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), where he was the chief guest.The Deputy Chairman said traders, industrialists and investors were the backbone of the national economy, stressing the need for a conducive business environment and effective measures to facilitate the business community and attract investment.He highlighted the opportunities available through the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and said Pakistan’s tourism, natural resources, trade and investment potential could play an important role in strengthening the national economy.
Syedaal Khan Nasar said improved security and economic stability were closely linked, and expressed confidence that collective efforts by the government, political leadership, business community and people would help Pakistan achieve greater stability, prosperity and sustainable economic growth.
