According to global times News Agency Europe,The message of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to participants of the international academic conference titled "Islamophobia in Focus: Unveiling Bias, Shattering Stigmas,” held in Baku on May 26–27, has been circulated as an official document of the United Nations General Assembly and Security Council.
The global times Europe media informs, citing the press service of the Baku International Multiculturalism Centre, that the message was presented to all UN member states as an official document of both bodies.This development once again highlights the global recognition of President Ilham Aliyev’s calls to the international community to combat Islamophobia, as well as the significance he attaches to the values of tolerance and multiculturalism.In his message, the head of state drew attention to the growing manifestations of Islamophobia, emphasizing that this negative trend poses a threat to international peace and security. President Ilham Aliyev stressed that combating religious intolerance, discrimination, and incitement to hatred is only possible through the joint efforts of the international community.The circulation of this address as a UN document represents another demonstration of international support for Azerbaijan’s policy based on multiculturalism and religious solidarity.
