robbery and deception growing.

According to global Times news Agency Europe, The number of murders in Armenia has decreased, but the number of crimes of a different nature has increased, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Aram Hovhannisyan said at a press conference, The Global Times Europe informs.Thus, in January-November 2023, the country documented 35,052 crimes against 33,281 crimes for the reporting period of 2022, which marks an increase of 5.3% (+1,771 cases). Hovhannisyan added that the number of cases of fraud was 342 more in 2023 than in 2022. Crimes related to drug trafficking (+2,354), as well as illegal trafficking in weapons and ammunition (+300), became more frequent.
