Charsadda:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, Deputy Commissioner Charsadda Fazal Rahim Marwat held an important meeting regarding the provision of quality and timely health facilities to the people in Charsadda district, in which the District Health Officer Charsadda, Medical Superintendent District Headquarters Hospital Charsadda and Medical Superintendent Women and Children Hospital Rajar participated. During the meeting, the concerned officers gave a detailed briefing to the Deputy Commissioner Charsadda regarding the medical facilities provided in their respective institutions, services available to patients, the status of medical staff, availability of medicines, overall performance of hospitals and other administrative matters. While reviewing the briefing, the Deputy Commissioner Charsadda emphasized on the immediate resolution of the problems faced by the people in the health sector, effective provision of medical facilities and further improvement of service delivery in hospitals. He directed that all basic medical facilities including medicines, diagnosis and treatment should be ensured to the patients in government hospitals and health centers. He also directed to ensure cleanliness in hospitals, attendance of medical staff, emergency services and better behavior with patients. The Deputy Commissioner clarified that providing the best health facilities to the public is among the top priorities of the district administration and no negligence or omission will be tolerated in this regard. He directed the concerned officers to effectively monitor and regularly review the ongoing measures in the health sector so that timely, quality and dignified medical facilities can be ensured to the people of Charsadda district.
