Malakand:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times News Agency Europe, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Malakand Division Iqbal Hussain Bacha to discuss the improvement of administrative affairs and important matters. All Assistant Commissioners, Additional Assistant Commissioners and Regional Information Officer Swat of Malakand Division attended the meeting. Important decisions were taken in the meeting regarding the improvement of administrative affairs, repair of government residences, public services, development measures and making the performance of officers effective. In the meeting, all Assistant Commissioners and Additional Assistant Commissioners were directed to study the document related to their responsibilities and powers in detail and gain clear awareness about them. AC Headquarters Upper Chitral was tasked with preparing a report on the successful initiatives of the community and private sector under AKRSP, their financial procedures, functions and legal framework and submitting it to the Commissioner Malakand Division. The meeting directed to complete the economic survey of the village councils in time to compile the economic profile of each tehsil, identify exportable products and commodities, collect information on their availability and potential export markets. It was also decided to compile and submit updated information on the current condition of government vehicles, repair needs and the need for additional vehicles. Regarding the facilities of government residences and offices, the meeting directed to prepare a proposal for the construction or provision of government residence and office for AAC Mandander, while the concerned authorities of Buner were given the responsibility of submitting this proposal before the Commissioner Malakand Division. In addition, funds of up to one million rupees per residence were allocated for the repair and renovation of government residences in Malakand Division as per the need and condition, while after the completion of the work, the Assistant Commissioners and Additional Assistant Commissioners were directed to inspect the quality. The meeting also decided to finalize the arrangements for the office of the AC Gadzi, develop a Google form to monitor the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of all Assistant Commissioners and Additional Assistant Commissioners and ensure timely payment of monthly TA/DA bills of the officers. It was directed that the concerned officers should submit the monthly bills on the 30th or 31st of every month, while the concerned accounts officers should complete the payment process within seven days. The Commissioner Malakand Division directed all the officers to perform their duties impartially, transparently and in accordance with the law and to avoid attending such private functions or social gatherings that may question their impartiality or the dignity of their official position. The officers were also directed to increase their legal knowledge, make decisions in accordance with relevant laws and rules, use modern digital means and acquire modern laptops to improve their performance. In the meeting, all Assistant Commissioners and Additional Assistant Commissioners were directed to use the Google form and email provided for registering and providing support for the problems faced.
