Swabi:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC), MTI-Swabi, observed World Mental Health Day to raise awareness about mental health, promote psychological well-being, and highlight the importance of mental healthcare services.An awareness event was organized at the Psychiatry Department, attended by Prof. Dr. Asif Kamal, Head of Psychiatry Department; Prof. Dr. Seema Gul, Medical Director; and Dr. Khalid Masud, Hospital Director. House Officers, Trainee Medical Officers (TMOs), and other healthcare staff also participated in the event.The event also highlighted the continuous efforts of the Psychiatry Department at BKMC in providing mental healthcare, consultation, and treatment services to patients.A cake-cutting ceremony was also held to mark the occasion, reflecting the institution’s commitment to promoting mental health awareness and improving patient care.
